OPINION / OBERSAVATIONS
Have you ever found yourself in a position where you loved what you are doing and team you work with but found your situation incredibly difficult, even unbearable?
Over the past three years, I have noticed a growing discontent among staff, stakeholders, and the community regarding our current state of affairs.
As Board Members, Office Staff, and Residents Association members have departed, they have collectively expressed dissatisfaction, leading to a decline in morale and productivity, which affects community trust.
In March 2023, I suggested we look into the reasons behind these departures and how we could prevent further losses. That was not done and at the end of last year, we still had individuals leaving. i.e. from Residents Association.
We have lost to many good people to count from the Board of Directors, Office Staff, Sales Staff and the Residents Association.
I do not know everyone’s individual reasons for leaving, as each person’s situation and motivations can vary greatly; however, I do know quite a few of the common factors that lead many to make such a decision.
Jack B, Maureen, Sparky, Curt, Nancy, Donna T, Diane C, Patti B, Jon A, Dave T, Randy, Sean, Griselda, Kathleen V, Patty K, Kathy R, Sam, Peggy D, Dale F
We need to take the time to thoroughly understand what is happening and make the necessary corrections to address the situation effectively!
