We have numerous vehicles in place to keep you updated with everything Naples Land Yacht Harbor. Some official (Corporate) and some unofficial (Residents). I have outlined everything I can think of below, if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.
Where do you get park Information?
- E-Mail – it is very important that you have the correct email address on file with the office (Official).
- Bulletin Boards – Located in the clubhouse and the northwest corner of the shuffleboard court (Official).
- Facebook Group – Corporate NLYH controlled access group your email address must be on file in the office, you must be a resident to join (Official). NLYH Corporate Board Communications | Facebook

- Event Calendar Revised in 2023, Event owners, Activity owners and Calendar Chair are responsible to input their events (Official).
- Channel 102 (On Hold) Summit Broadband Channel 102. Also available in a PDF format on the web. You do not need to be in the park to enjoy Channel 102 anymore. You can scroll the document at your own pace (Official).
- Gossip – Word of mouth, most often not correct (Unofficial).
- Corporate Board meetings are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month, October thru April, at 9:00 AM in the NLYH Clubhouse. Always check the calendar, we are not following a set schedule. BOD Agendas and Minutes Are posted on bulletin boards and sent to the website for posting (Official).
- Residents Board meetings are the first Saturday of every month, October thru April, at 9:00 AM (after coffee) in the NLYH Clubhouse (Official).
- Boat Club meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month, October thru April, at 7:00 p.m. in the NLYH Clubhouse.
- Harbor Highlights (On Hold) Delivered right to your front door. It is produced Monthly from October until March, containing all kinds of information. It is also available for view or print on our resident’s website.
- Email Blast Maintains an email list used by our residents to communicate among themselves.
- Facebook Group – Residents NLYH controlled access group (Unofficial). NLYH Residents | Facebook
- Friendship Club The information is provided by NLYH Friendship Coordinator. They coordinate information on illness, accident, hospitalization or death with Channel 102 and the Website.

Communication Silos
Preliminary Thoughts
Residents have a choice where they get their community information, so it only makes sense that it is “Consistent and Accurate” regardless of where they get it.
This is not about who owns what; it is about a process to get information out to the source that a resident follows.
Let’s say information is sent to Channel 102 about a party and you do not watch the channel.
You then hope that it has been communicated to other Silos and that is the one you follow.
Let’s say information is sent using the form about a party it will get to all communications channels. Now no matter what your preference is you will get the party information.
When communications come in:
- Each publisher decides how to make it fit for their channel of communications
- If the Clubhouse is needed it must be reserved with the Residence Boards Calendar Chairperson

In the communication below we know:
- The clubhouse has been reserved
- This can be put on the NLYH Active Calendar
- Channel 102 can post it
- Email Blast can send it out
- It is in time for Harbor Highlights
